Families may apply to the Fund for assistance for as many programs throughout a calendar year as their child(ren) attend. Each program and each child, however, requires a separate application to be submitted. (Camp Newman has a separate application)

Levy Scholarships are awarded on a first-come first-served basis. Please apply for a Levy Scholarship as soon as the application opens in order to ensure the best chance of receiving a scholarship.

If a scholarship discount from the Levy Fund is granted, both the applicant and his/her parents will receive a confirmation letter by e-mail stating so, as long as e-mail addresses are provided. Families, will not, however, directly receive a check. Rather, the Levy Fund will provide the event/program with the money to cover the discount. This will occur following confirmation of the applicant’s participation in the particular program or event.

NFTY in Israel, Mitzvah Corps, URJ Kutz Camp, NFTY Convention:
Applicant families will need to immediately submit payment to the program, and subtract the amount of the scholarship discount granted the Fund. If registration for the program/event has already been paid in full, applicant families will need to inform the Levy Fund of this situation as soon as possible so that other arrangements for payment can be made. Please note that the Fund no longer provides scholarships for EIE High School. 

NFTY Southern California (NFTY-SOCAL) and NFTY Southwest (NFTY-Southwest):
As online registration for NFTY-SOCAL and NFTY-SW events requires full payment upon registration, recipients of Levy Fund scholarships need to enter their Levy code when they register.

• Every event will have an application period. During this period applications are accepted on a rolling basis and scholarships are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
• When scholarships are awarded, recipients receive a confirmation e-mail with a scholarship code. When entered upon registration, this code will reduce the amount of the scholarship awarded from the balance due. Please note that codes are not transferable. If a recipient cannot attend the event, the Levy Fund Administrator should be notified immediately. (Please see www.nfty.org/sw/events/registration or www.nfty.org/socal/events/registration for details about how the scholarship code process works.)
• Please note that there will be no scholarship refunds after the event.
