Families may apply to the Fund for assistance for as many programs throughout a calendar year as their child(ren) attend.  Each program and each child, however, requires a separate application to be submitted. (Camp Newman has a separate application)

If a scholarship discount from the Levy Fund is granted, both the applicant and his/her parents will receive a confirmation letter by e-mail stating so, as long as e-mail addresses are provided. Families, will not, however, directly receive a check.  Rather, the Levy Fund will provide the event/program with the money to cover the discount. This will occur following confirmation of the applicant’s participation in the particular program or event.

Levy Scholarships are awarded on a first-come first-served basis. Please apply for a Levy Scholarship as soon as possible in order to ensure the best chance of receiving a scholarship.

NFTY in Israel, Mitzvah Corps, URJ Kutz Camp, NFTY Convention, URJ Biennial:
In light of the Levy scholarship process, applicant families will need to immediately submit payment to the program, minus the amount of scholarship discount being sought from the Fund. If registration for the program/event has already been paid in full, applicant families will need to inform the Levy Fund of this situation as soon as possible so that other arrangements for payment can be made.

NFTY Southern California (NFTY-SOCAL) and NFTY Southwest (NFTY-Southwest):
Because online registration for NFTY-SOCAL and NFTY-SW events requires full payment at the time of registration, the payment process is different for these events:

• Every event will have an application period. During this period applications are accepted on a rolling basis and scholarships are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
• When scholarships are awarded, confirmation e-mails will contain an online registration scholarship code. When entered online, this code will reduce the amount of the scholarship awarded from the balance due.
