2013 Biennial Proposed Resolutions

The resolutions adopted by the URJ represent the evolutionary changes in its stands on many political, social, economic, and humanitarian issues. Since its inception in 1873 the URJ has not hesitated to speak out on issues of the widest scope and significance, always seeking to elucidate current problems according to its interpretation of the voice of prophetic Judaism.

In anticipation of the Union for Reform Judaism Biennial General Assembly to be held starting on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, we want to share with you the timetable for processing resolutions before the Biennial convenes. More

These four resolutions have been sent to each URJ congregation for comment. We encourage you to be in touch with your congregation if you wish to provide input.
