Donna Duskin Stein became Chief Financial Officer of the Union for Reform Judaism in September 2007. Immediately prior to joining the Union, Ms. Stein served as senior vice president, Finance and Administration, of the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. She held a similar position at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts from 2001-2003.
From 1978-2000, she held a number of increasingly responsible positions with Sunoco, Inc., serving finally as director of Finance and Planning.
Ms. Stein graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Buffalo. She received an M.A. from Columbia University Teachers College and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School, where she was awarded the Adam Averill Ross Prize in Accounting.
She has served as a trustee of Congregation Rodeph Shalom in Philadelphia, PA and vice president and trustee at Main Line Reform Temple in Wynnewood, PA. She is a founder of the Alliance of Nonprofit Financial Officers, Southeast Pennsylvania. Ms. Stein is a member of Central Synagogue in New York City.
