November 22, 2013, New York, NY -- The Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) is proud to announce that Corey Cutler, development director of URJ Eisner and Crane Lake Camps was selected for the JCamp180 Development Professional of the Year Award. Mr. Cutler was selected for his outstanding work increasing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts and was bestowed the award on Sunday, November 3, as part of JCamp180's 2013 Conference, Sparks: Igniting New Ways of Leading, Thinking and Working.

JCamp 180 is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) that aims to significantly enhance the long-term effectiveness of nonprofit overnight camps and other organizations that engage young people in meaningful Jewish cultural and educational experiences. Eisner and Crane Lake are among 83 camps working with JCamp180.

Mr. Cutler received multiple recommendations and kudos from his colleagues within and outside of his camp. In the past eight years, Cutler has built the development program from the ground up and has successfully raised over $10 million, guided and strengthened the board and lead a strategic planning process.

"Corey has been invaluable to our camp community," said Senior Director of URJ Eisner and Crane Lake Camps Louis Bordman. "He has helped to create a vibrant and strong board and donor base. He is beloved by our staff, lay members, camper families and alumni who are all grateful for his spirit of kindness."

"I'm humbled and honored by this recognition, which represents the powerful partnership formed with our board of directors and our camp directors," said Mr. Cutler. "Together we have accomplished a great deal to move Eisner and Crane Lake Camps' mission forward, and I look forward to continuing this sacred work of strengthening Jewish camp for future generations."
