Sample Application Questions

Young Adults Application Questions:
  • Briefly describe what you are currently doing to engage (young adults in their 20s and 30s) in your congregational community. How many (young adults) currently take part?

  • What are the three main challenges you face in engaging this cohort?

  • What are your perceptions of the demographics of (young Jews in their 20's & 30's) in your local community whom you seek to engage?

  • Why does your congregation want to take part in this community of practice? What do you hope to gain?

  • Has your congregation previously participated in a change process? If yes, please briefly describe the process and results.

  • What challenges do you anticipate needing to be overcome for your congregation to successfully realize your vision for engaging (young adults)?

  • Our congregation's Board of Trustees has discussed participation in this community of practice and has agreed to support all aspects of this work (Yes/No)
