Interfaith FellowsAccording to the 2000 National Jewish Population Study, about half of contemporary North American Jews today will enter into interfaith relationships and one-third of their children will be raised as Jews. The Schindler Fellows for Interfaith Certification will prepare lay leaders to create a welcoming environment that supports, educates and programs for interfaith couples and families. Now in its twelfth year, the Schindler Fellows Program for Interfaith Certification will prepare you to work in partnership with your rabbi as you explore the issues of interfaith relationships, find positive solutions to difficult challenges learn how to engage and support interfaith couples and families and encourage Jewish choices in their lives.

You’ll get to study with faculty members, leading congregational rabbis and experienced program staff of the Union for Reform Judaism at HUC-JIR at HUC Cincinnati. Join us for four days of intensive study and worship, as we explore how to make this welcome an embrace.
