Preserving Your Congregation's Heritage

Information for a changing congregation.
From the URJ in partnership with the Jewish Community Legacy Project (JCLP).

Are you one of the congregations across North America who is dealing with changing demographics, new economic realities or unexpected events which sometimes combine to put the future of a congregation in doubt?  Do you have questions regarding the disposition or preservation of a building, religious artifacts and ritual items?

The URJ is now working in close partnership with the Jewish Community Legacy Project (JCLP) to provide more support and services to congregations that are at the point in their lifecycle where they are struggling with what the future may bring. Your Congregational Representative is happy to assist any congregational leaders interested in talking with representatives from the JCLP. Representatives from the JCLP organization will be available for consultation at the Biennial in Washington DC, Dec. 14-18, 2011. For more information, please contact Merry at mlugasy@urj.org or call 212.452.6742.
