The SCRF was designed to support small congregations (250 membership units or less) at Union for Reform Judaism-sponsored events for the purpose of providing leadership opportunities and enhancing leadership skills. Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences with their congregations to help create well-run and spiritually fulfilling congregational communities.
SCRF grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
PLEASE NOTE that all applications are now posted in The Tent, the collaborative workspace for leaders of Reform Judaism. To request access, please visit The Tent homepage and register as a new user. (You do not need to use a work email address to register.)
Small congregations may apply for five-year, low-interest loans up to $50,000. Loans are awarded by the SCRF Committee on a case-by-case basis. Funds have been used for:
Building, facility renovation, or land acquisition
