The URJ Techies is a contest for member congregations, which recognizes those that are successfully utilizing and embracing social networks and technology, and will provide inspiration for others to seek innovative ways of enriching their communities by engaging members online.
Winners
The URJ Techies winners were selected in three main sections: Congregations, Youth-Focused, and Education-Focused. Winners in the Congregations category were voted for by the public, and winners in the Youth-Focused and Education-Focused categories were chosen by URJ Staff.

Finalists and winners will be chosen for usage of Facebook, Twitter, blogging, video, audio, and/or technology overall, based on the following criteria:

Prizes
Congregation Prizes First Place: Winners in each category will receive 50% off one URJ Biennial 2011 registration.
Youth-Focused Prizes First Place: Winners in each category will receive a $180 scholarship to be used at the congregations discretion for NFTY regional programming or the URJ 2011 Biennial registration.
Education-Focused Prizes First Place: Winners in each category will receive 25% off registration for the 1st person and 50% off registration for the 2nd person from their congregation that attends the Education Summit at the URJ 2011 Biennial.
