Tisha B’Av: Reflections from a Reform Jew

Tu B'Av begins at sundown on August 3rd.

Tu B'Av, which occurs on the 15th of Av, is described in the Talmud as one of the two happiest days of the year. In ancient Israel, this day marked the beginning of the grape harvest. Today, it is celebrated as a day of love.
