About the Joint Seminars

At the latest Biennial, the Union for Reform Judaism and Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion announced a series of joint seminars for youth professionals to fulfill one of the tenets of Inspired Engagement. We are committed to providing exceptional professional development for adults working with youth. 

We believe that having better trained professionals will increase meaningful and lasting youth engagement within our communities.

About the New York City Seminar

We are honored to be hosted at HUC-JIR's New York Campus in a vibrant downtown NYC neighborhood. Participants will explore the psychology of social media and the role technology plays in teen and tween relationships. We will be joined by Zach Geller, a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the CUNY Graduate Center.
