2013 Conference Fees
Registration Options:
Early-Bird Rate
(Must be registered by
December 17, 2012)
Regular Rate
(Must be registered and paid in full by

After January 3rd, all registration is on a space-available basis only.

  • These fees DO NOT include the cost of travel to and from Los Angeles, CA.
  • All fees include a non-refundable $75.00 deposit.

*This rate is available only to currently enrolled students at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Rate applies to the Full Program - Shared Room option. Contact Aliza Greenberg at yec@urj.org or 212-650-4130 to register with this option.

Registration Options
Full Program Registration - Shared Room (w/ another YEC participant)
  • Registrant will be sharing a room with another YEC participant.
  • Fees include a double-occupancy room, all meals, full program and materials. (Friday through Tuesday)
  • Fees do not include transportation to and from Los Angeles.
Full Program Registration - Single Room
  • Registrant will have a private room.
  • Fees include a single-occupancy room, all meals, full program and materials. (Friday through Tuesday)
  • Fees do not include transportation to and from Los Angeles.
  • Registrant may share room with spouse/partner.
  • Meals for spouse/partner are available at an additional cost which must be paid for at the time of registration.
  • A single room may not be shared with another Youth Engagement Conference participant.
Commuter Registration
  • No hotel room is included in this registration.
  • Fees include all meals (lunch and dinner), full program and materials. (Friday through Tuesday)
  • Fees do not include transportation to and from Los Angeles.
Day Registration
  • No hotel room is included in this registration.
  • Fees include one day's meals (lunch and dinner), one day's program and materials.
  • Fees do not include transportation to and from Los Angeles.
Refunds and Cancellations
We recognize that our participants may need to cancel after registering for an event. We have created a policy for refunds that considers our financial obligations for the event and our desire to refund as much of the registration fees paid as possible.
 
All cancellations must be sent to the YEC registrar in writing - either by mail, fax (212-650-4064) or email (yec@urj.org). Refunds are sent approximately six weeks after the conclusion of the event.
 

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:
  • Through January 3, 2013 – full refund minus the $75.00 non-refundable deposit
  • Through January 29, 2013 – refund of all but a $325.00 cancellation fee. This fee is required in order for us to cover our contractual obligations to the hotel.
After January 29, 2013 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after January 29, 2013 you will be refunded all but the $325.00 cancellation fee.
 
All cancellation requests must be in writing to the YEC registrar. We will accept cancellations by email to yec@urj.org. We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone.
