The 2013 Youth Engagement Conference is a laboratory for learning and growth with the unique opportunity for dialogue, development, and networking for professionals and lay leaders who work with or are committed to youth.

Youth Engagement Labs provide opportunities for small teams to conceive, plan, implement, and debrief experiential learning programs during the conference.

Youth Engagement Workshops offer skill-based sessions for exploring the meaning and elements of engagement as well as broader topics related to working with youth.

11:45 am Introduction to the Youth Engagement Labs
Throughout the conference participants will have the opportunity to conceive, plan, implement, and debrief experiential learning programs in small teams. The programs will be planned early in the conference with some opportunities to think about these sessions well before you arrive in LA. At the conference the teams will offer their experimental session for the teens attending the parrallel NFTY convention and then have a chance to debrief in a safe, constructive environment with colleagues and experts from the conference’s focus areas: tfillah, the arts and Israel.
