Joanna Roth Butler, Cicero, IN

When I heard of your passing, I stood in disbelief. I have never known a time when you haven't been a part of my spiritual life, a constant presence, a reassuring nod; I grew as a Jew with your soundtrack in the background. In your memory, I played all the albums, loud. Loud enough to drown out the sound of my sobbing. You will not be forgotten. I will sing your songs. Loud.
