She came to teach us songs which were often ,"the first time," and my youth group friends and I felt honored and privileged to learn and perform her songs as she honed them. She invited a few of us to skip our first year of college and travel with her, singing; alas, in those days that was not considered acceptable by our parents. I will miss her terribly but continue to sing her songs with our young people at the Day School and in my own life.
