Cathy Rolland is the Director of Early Childhood Education.She assists affiliated congregations by helping them launch new early childhood centers and strengthen existing programs.Her areas of expertise include: strategic planning and budgeting; lay leader partnerships, curriculum development, and integration of Reform Jewish values in the early childhood classroom.In addition, she assists in the areas of staff education and national accreditation.
Cathy was a founding member and the first President of the Early Childhood Educators of Reform Judaism, (ECE-RJ) the newest affiliate of the Union. She served as the Director of Mountain Top School for Young Children at Temple Har Shalom in Warren, New Jersey for eleven years, overseeing the NAEYC accreditation and reaccredidation processes.Cathy was instrumental in developing a strong partnership with congregational lay leadership which created strong connections between the early childhood and Temple Har Shalom families.
Cathy and her husband reside in Watchung, New Jersey with their three sons and chocolate lab, Maggie Denali.
