Bioethics Resources for Congregations
Program Description
In recent years, medical science and technology have given new meaning to the idea of "miracles" and new importance to old worries about human "tampering" with the forces of creation. Organ Donation & Transplantation
Jewish tradition teaches that we are partners with God in continuing and sustaining the daily miracles of creation. Organ and tissue donation are an extension of this partnership. All contemporary denominations of North American Jewry consider this to be a modern mitzvah that enables us to 'save a life'. Through donation, you have the unique and holy opportunity to give the gift of life and wellness from one of God's creations: you to another. Indeed, your gift is the gift of life.
Matan Chaim--The Gift of Life
An invitation and Q & A from Reform Judaism to become part of the program on organ and tissue donation. In advance, thank you for your gift of life.
