Disabilities

Our goal is the full participation in the spiritual, educational and communal aspects of synagogue life for people living with disabilities and for their families.

Inclusion Guides/Directories
  • Al Pi Darco
Union Special Needs Resource Manual--including information for B'nei Mitvah planning, religious school, and congregational needs
  • People with Disabilities Resource Directory
This directory from the UJA Federation answers such questions as: Where can parents go to find Hebrew schools, bar or bat mitzvah training, social outlets, and advocacy services for a developmentally disabled youngster? Where can elderly caregivers turn to make provisions for a developmentally disabled adult child? Or where can families find support groups that assist them in coping with the unique demands of helping a child or a teen with disabilities reach his or her full potential?
