Dear Friends,
As your acting regional president, I follow in the footsteps of two giants, Rosanne Selfon and Andy Gurman. Rosanne has gone on to the national presidency of Women of Reform Judaism and Andy has turned his efforts to the important Tikkun Olam issue of universal health care in his new role as Vice Speaker of the American Medical Association House of Delegates. I have learned much from both of them, and I hope that I can do as well as they have done in representing the congregations of this region within URJ.
