NO on PROPOSITION 8

DEFEAT PROPOSITION 8!  PROTECT THE FREEDOM TO MARRY!

The Pacific Southwest Council opposes Proposition 8,  and we are joined by the Pacific Central West Council and the Pacific Association of Reform Rabbis.  Why does the Reform Movement oppose Proposition 8?  What can you do?  Click here for more information.

The Pacific Southwest Council of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) provides regional support to congregations and individuals, leadership and vision on Reform Judaism's spiritual, ethical and political issues. The council provides opportunities for individual growth and identity which congregations cannot provide by themselves: camps and Israel programs, adult education programs, regional biennials and participation in the national biennial.
