Informal Youth Programs

• Art projects with nets (butterfly nets, soccer nets, basketball nets, fishing nets)
• Hold a poster design competition. Encourage creativity in campaign themes and names (e.g. “’Veto the Squito” and “Stomp Out Malaria”).
• Teach kids about the project. In groups, have them create commercials to encourage people to donate.
• Start a Facebook or Myspace group. Challenge everyone who joins to donate $10 for a net!
• Free-throw “Nothing but Net” tournament.

Religious School Lessons and Activities

• Lesson Plans for Grades K-9
• Class fundraising competition.
• Set up a bed net classroom display.
• Lesson on G’Milut Chasadim (the pursuit of justice, peace, and deeds of loving kindness) and our obligation as Jews to participate in social action efforts.
• Hand out paper quarter rolls. Challenge each student to collect $10 in quarters ($10 = 1 roll).
• Host a bake sale, bagel or pizza sale before or after Religious School
• Trivia.
• Students can design fundraising posters.
