Many individuals require assistance in establishing temporary housing or interim support until insurance or governmental benefits are received. A gift card is a nice way to allow individuals the dignity of purchasing items of their own choosing. Below is a list of vendors that exist in Southern California. Because the Union for Reform Judaism cannot assess individual needs, we will allocate donated gift cards to those in the local community who are qualified to make such assessments and dispense these cards appropriately. Our gift card procedures follow the same criteria and “due diligence” as grants from the relief fund.

When sending donated gift cards, please be sure to include your contact information so we can provide an acknowledgment for tax purposes. Also, please indicate the value on the card itself; otherwise the card may require scanning to determine the amount. Please send cards to:
