Gift cards that can be redeemed at stores throughout the southern United States will be very useful both in the ongoing relief efforts and as evacuees begin to rebuild their lives.

If you would like to donate a gift card for distribution through the Union for Reform Judaism, please consider one or more of these retail establishments:

If you are familiar with the specific communities in the South where the evacuees are now concentrated, please feel free to send gift cards/certificates for local retail stores. Please clearly indicate the community where those stores are located.

Alternately, since evacuees are finding their way to communities across the nation, you may wish to donate gift cards to shelters or resettlement agencies in your own community that are serving these families and individuals.

The Union will distribute gift cards that it receives to rabbis in communities that currently are serving those who have been displaced. In turn, the rabbis will distribute the cards to individuals and families so that they can purchase essential items to assist them in their resettlement. We recommend gift cards in the amounts of $250 or less for security reasons.
