2 NFTY North American Board Members from South District

Back in February, NFTY held their elections for the new North American board members. The South District is very excited that 2 of the 5 newest board members are from the South District.

Gordon Kaye will serve as the NFTY Social Action Vice President for the 2013-2014 year. Gordon served as the Social Action Vice President for NFTY's Ohio Valley Region (OV) and is a member of The Temple Ohabai Sholom in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Micah Friedman will serve as the NFTY Religious and Cultural Vice President for the 2013-2014 year. Micah served as Religious and Cultural Vice President for NFTY's Southern Tropical Region (STR) and is a member of Congregation Beth Am in Tampa, Florida. 

Gordon and Micah are joined by:

  • President - Andrew Keene from NFTY's Northern Region (NO) and a member of Congregation Shalom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • Programming Vice President - Morgan Weidner from NFTY's Northwest Region (NW) and a member of Temple De Hirsch Sinai in Bellevue, Washington
  • Membership and Communications Vice President - Aaron Heft from NFTY's Mid-Atlantic Region (MAR) and a member of Temple Sinai in Newport News, Virginia

We are all very proud of them and wish them a hearty Mazel Tov and lead NFTY from strength to strength as leaders.
