Rabbi Lou Feldstein receives Honorary Doctorate from HUC-JIR

Rabbi Lou Feldstein of Congregation B'nai Israel in Fayetteville, Georgia, received his Honorary Doctorate from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Rabbi Feldstein received this honor from HUC-JIR for his 25 years of service as a rabbi on behalf of the Jewish people. In addition to work at Congregation B'nai Israel, Rabbi Feldstein also serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, where he is responsible for the ongoing operations of the Federation. He has also served as the Director of the Hillel Jewish Center at the University of Miami, Founding Director of Atlanta YAD: The Jewish Young Adult Agency, and various roles for the United Jewish Communities (now called The Jewish Federations of North America).
