The committee will strive to increase knowledge of our shared Jewish heritage; to establish lines of communication throughout the South District and share best practices amongst member congregations; including, but not limited to: Early Childhood Engagement and Adult Learning; URJ  Day Schools, NFTY , URJ camps, youth engagement and Israel programs.

The size of a congregation matters not; however, particular attention will be focused on small congregations, and the need to create unique opportunities for Jewish learning. In all cases, the committee will participate in the planning or sponsoring of South District forums or gatherings, using social media and URJ resources
