The role of the NFTY Youth Programs Managers is to:
  • Raise awareness of the importance of Jewish teen engagement
  • Build relationships among congregations and local organizations serving youth to maximize engagement opportunities
  • Provide educational, social, and spiritual events in line with Reform Judaism and ensuring the health and safety of all participants while in NFTY's care
  • Be a resource and mentor to Jewish teenagers affiliated with the URJ
  • Bring the values of Reform Judaism and NFTY's 13 Principles to teen interactions and programming
  • Offer support to congregational youth, volunteers and professionals in their efforts to create and maintain active high school teen programming
  • Leverage key stakeholder relationships for building more sustainable Reform Jewish communities around teens
  • Reach out to and offer Judaic programming to less-engaged teens in specific communities
  • Serves as a conduit for unique and collaborative resource sharing within strategic communities
  • Support youth worker professional development assemblies
  • Provide the "boots on the ground" structure to expand and solidify Jewish youth involvement in all URJ youth programs with an emphasis on NFTY

NFTY Regional Advisors

  • Raise awareness of the importance of Jewish teen engagement
  • Provide educational, social, and spiritual events in line with Reform Judaism and ensuring the health and safety of all participants while in NFTY's care
  • Be a resource and mentor to Jewish teenagers affiliated with the URJ
  • Bring the values of Reform Judaism and NFTY's 13 Principles to teen interactions and programming
  • Serve as an ambassador and recruiter for all URJ Youth Programs
