The role of the NFTY Youth Programs Managers is to:
Raise awareness of the importance of Jewish teen engagement
Build relationships among congregations and local organizations serving youth to maximize engagement opportunities
Provide educational, social, and spiritual events in line with Reform Judaism and ensuring the health and safety of all participants while in NFTY's care
Be a resource and mentor to Jewish teenagers affiliated with the URJ
Bring the values of Reform Judaism and NFTY's 13 Principles to teen interactions and programming
Offer support to congregational youth, volunteers and professionals in their efforts to create and maintain active high school teen programming
Leverage key stakeholder relationships for building more sustainable Reform Jewish communities around teens
Reach out to and offer Judaic programming to less-engaged teens in specific communities
Serves as a conduit for unique and collaborative resource sharing within strategic communities
Support youth worker professional development assemblies
Provide the "boots on the ground" structure to expand and solidify Jewish youth involvement in all URJ youth programs with an emphasis on NFTY
