356 days ago, the lives of the Zak Kadish's brother, Ethan, family and himself were changed forever by a freak weather incident. Since then, darkness has lifted and hope has returned to their lives. Lathan was an active member of his synagogue’s religious school, but his connection to Judaism didn’t stop there. While the classroom gave him book smarts, his dynamic involvement in his temple youth group and NFTY strengthened his leadership skills. Yaelle Nisinzweig has spent 15 summers at Crane Lake Camp in virtually every capacity, and is serving as the Programming Director this summer. Over the years she has seen camp change – watching new buildings rise and campers grow older.
