Temple Beth El of Great Neck is seeking a dynamic, energetic,
team-player to work with our youth as an advisor for a growing youth
group and to create a new junior youth group.
General Description and Expectations: Working
with our Associate Rabbi Youth Director to engage our youth in grades 4
- 12, our youth advisor will lead all youth events and work with our
youth on developing their leadership skills. We are looking for someone
who will create meaningful engagement and community for our youth.
Salary: This is a part time position. Competitive salary as commensurate with experience.
About the youth group: Our
youth group existed before NFTY and doesn't have a NFTY name. We're
called "JTC" which stands for "Junior Temple Club." The students votes
last year to keep the title JTC to value their heritage while innovating
for an exciting future. Four years ago, we had four students in the
youth group. Today, we have an energized core of approximately twenty
kids. We're looking for an advisor who will help them continue to grow
and develop while simultaneously creating a new junior youth group to
serve our younger students.
