Joel Emerman (he/him)is the senior website manager for the Union for Reform Judaism. Based in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, he is originally from New Orleans and has a degree from the University of Kansas. Joel grew up in the Reform Movement, as a member of Congregation Gates of Prayer in Metairie, LA, a camper and counselor at Henry S. Jacobs Camp, an active member of GoPTY and NFTY Southern and attended a NFTY In Israel trip.
