The 2018 URJ Had'rachah Seminar will take place at the URJ's Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute (OSRUI) on July 11-15th, 2018. The URJ Had'rachah Seminar for Lay Leadership in Ritual Life is open only to congregational leaders from small congregations with no more than one full-time clergy member. The URJ Had’rachah Seminar teaches participants a variety of skills to help them lead communal worship, lifecycle events, and educational opportunities in support of or in place of clergy. Our faculty is composed of rabbis, cantors, and Jewish educators. Participants will learn from them, from URJ staff and from each other.

Join us on January 23rd, at 8pm ET to learn about the URJ Congregational Finances 101 Course. Topics covered in the URJ Congregational Finances 101 Course help define both the financial process and data lay leaders are expected to understand, as part of their financial fiduciary duty to the congregation. This course begins on February 20, 2018. Each lesson in the course is between 1 to 2 hours.
