On October 29th, “How Successful Congregations Embrace Change: A URJ Day of Learning” will take place simultaneously in over 20 locations across four time zones. Each location will run the exact same program, enabling congregational leaders throughout the Reform Movement to learn about the changing landscape of our world and its implication on Jewish life.

Join us for an informational webinar on November 28th, 8pm ET. You will be able to learn about the URJ Scheidt Seminar in general and about this year's specific logistics for both locations. You will also have the opportunity to have your questions about the seminar answered.

The American Jewish Archives will be offering its fifth Synagogue Archives Conference on November 5-6 in Cincinnati, OH. This conference invites synagogue archivists from all over the country–and primarily from the Reform movement–to study with the American Jewish Archive's archivists on the basics of preserving the historic records of synagogue archives.

National Conference.  Held in odd numbered years in designated cities with multiple URJ synogogue based early childhood centers, conferences provide opportunities for local and North American educators of all affiliations to come together to study and collaborate.

The April URJ Scheidt Seminar will take place on April 19-22, 2018 in Peachtree City, GA. Funded through the generosity of Rudi and Honey Scheidt, the annual URJ Scheidt Seminar for Presidents and Presidents-Elect convenes congregational presidents to learn, network, build relationships, and enhance leadership skills. It serves as a springboard for learning throughout presidents' terms.

The URJ Shallat Rabbinic Transition Program and Retreat is open to congregations that have undergone a senior or solo rabbinic transition since June 2017. The program is designed to deepen the sacred partnership between the rabbi and president of the congregation.
