Please join our Eastern MA and RI URJ Community as we explore the topic of: Membership and Engagement: How Do They Intersect and How Can We "Do It" Best?
Sunday, May 22, 2-4:30pm at Temple Shir Tikva, Wayland, Massachusetts
Rabbi Leora Kaye, URJ Director of Programs, will be leading a guided and interactive discussion for us. This session is not a "magic wand" to instant membership or engagement, but rather an exploration of some techniques which create the tools to attract people and to make them feel part of a real community. What are the concrete steps to take enabling us to be in relationship with our congregants? And of equal importance, to be sure they are in relationship with each other and us--when it really matters!
Leora is a dynamic and thoughtful presenter. In her URJ role, Leora is responsible for the creative advancement of the three core priorities of the Reform Movement: Social Justice, Strengthening Congregations and Audacious Hospitality. She was formerly the Director of Community Engagement at Congregation Rodeph Sholom from 2004 to 2015, where she spearheaded innovative initiatives including the creation and implementation of a new engagement strategy.
