"Return to the Reich" Book & Author with Eric Lichtblau

Temple Israel, Lawrence, cordially invites you to attend the Zoom talk "Return to the Reich" with author Eric Lichtblau on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. "Return to the Reich" tells the remarkable story of Fred Mayer, a German-born Jew who escaped Nazi Germany only to return as an American commando on a secret mission behind enemy lines.

Based on years of research and interviews with Mayer himself, whom the author was able to meet only months before his death at the age of 94, "Return to the Reich" is an eye-opening, unforgettable narrative of WW II heroism. The presenter is Eric Lichtblau, author, investigative reporter and two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize, in the Washington Bureau of "the New York Times," where he writes about national security, money-and-politics, law enforcement and a range of other national issues.

This program is open to the public and Free of charge. Please contact Alan at alan.freedman@tilny.org for the Zoom link. This event is sponsored by the Judy and Ben Segan Adult Education Fund of Temple Israel, Lawrence.
