Join us for a webinar about accessing congregational security funding on January 24th, 1:00-2:15pm ET. We will explore options for accessing security funding available through Homeland Security grants, and resources that may be available via state/local government agencies, Federations, and private foundations. Tips will include where to look, what to expect or not expect, when advocacy is needed, and what to ask for.
This webinar will feature David Pollock, Associate Executive Director and Director of Public Policy & Jewish Security at the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. It will be moderated by Barry Mael, Senior Director of Kehilla Affiliations and Operations at the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ).
There is a limited number of spots available for live participation in the webinar. The recording of this webinar will be posted in the Safety and Security group in The Tent for those interested but unable to participate in the live session.
This webinar is the first in a series of webinars about 21st-century congregational security. Stay tuned for updates on additional webinars in the series in the Safety and Security group in The Tent.
This webinar is offered jointly by the Union for Reform Judaism, USCJ, Reconstructing Judaism, NAASE, and the National Association for Temple Administration (NATA).
