Payroll Coordinator

Overview and Purpose:

The Payroll Coordinator will provide daily financial support to URJ. The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for employee input, payroll, and billing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process in-coming payroll in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Process garnishments, job verifications and tax agency requests
  • Administer semi-monthly and biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of timesheet submissions
  • Maintain HRIS System (ADP Workforce)
  • Process salary changes, bonus payments and other related changes to employee records
  • Prepare payroll reports and monthly benefit reconciliations
  • Perform necessary audits to ensure payroll and systems accuracy
  • Respond to and resolve client questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot any discrepancies found in the Payroll system

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years payroll experience
  • Payroll certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, specifically reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Advanced organizational and planning skills.
  • Proven ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask with minimal supervision.
