November 20, 2017, New York, NY - U.S. Senator for Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker will be among the featured speakers at the URJ Biennial, the largest Jewish religious gathering in North America.

The Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) will gather 5,500 Jewish leaders at the 74th URJ North American Biennial convention, taking place December 6-10, 2017 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Registration for the 2017 URJ Biennial is at full capacity with 5,500 participants, the most ever for this convention.

Biennial brings together clergy, professionals, lay leaders, educators, youth leaders, and high school and college students to learn, pray, share ideas, network, celebrate, make Reform Movement policy, and create engagement opportunities for the Reform Jewish community. Reimagining Jewish Life is the theme of Biennial 2017.

Barber II; URJ President Rabbi Rick Jacobs; Chair of URJ North American Board of Trustees Daryl Messinger; Israeli author and activist David Grossman; public health advocate Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha whose research exposed the Flint Water Crisis; as well as hundreds of leading authors, scholars, and Israeli and North American opinion leaders. The URJ Biennial also features the most comprehensive line-up of Jewish musicians.

5,000 Reform Jewish leaders from 57 states/provinces and around the world, including more than 450 rabbis, 150 cantors, and 200 congregational presidents will be in attendance.
