Youth Professional 101 Fellowship

This unique program brings together full and part-time youth professionals in the first two years of their careers to learn with experts in the field, create a peer-to-peer learning group, and explore how to create meaningful and sustainable youth engagement models in their community.

Brand New 3 Part Webinar Series: Asking the Why: The Jewish in Jewish Youth Engagement

Why does the “Jewish” in Jewish Youth Engagement matter?  How do we use our values and teachings to make a lasting impact on our teens and empower them to lead meaningful lives that make our world a more whole, just, compassionate and joyful place? 

We invite you to join 3 exceptional presenters for “Asking the Why of Jewish Youth Engagement.” 

  • Wednesday, January 30th with HUC-JIR NY School Director of Education, Dr. Evie Rotstein, who will explore with us middot (Jewish values) as a language for connecting youth to Jewish life
  • Sunday, February 25th for teens and adults with URJ Director of Israel Engagement, Reuven Greenvald,  to explore how and why to bring Israel into your programming. 
  • Tuesday, March 27th  learn with Camp Newman's Director of New Initiatives and Retreats Loal Isaacs, about how to creatively integrate Jewish texts into youth programming and connect teens to one another and to our tradition.
