We’re excited to introduce our brand new 3-Part Webinar Series for Spring 2018: Asking the Why: The Jewish in Jewish Youth Engagement!

Why does the “Jewish” in Jewish Youth Engagement matter? Let’s explore how we can use our values and teachings to make a lasting impact on our teens and empower them to lead meaningful lives that make our world a more whole, just, compassionate and joyful place.

We invite you to join our three exceptional presenters for this interactive online learning experience:

  • Part I: Wednesday, January 30th at 1:00pm ET with HUC-JIR NY School Director of Education, Dr. Evie Rotstein, will kick off the series by exploring the use of Middot (Jewish values) as a language for connecting youth to Jewish life.
  • Part II: Sunday, February 25th at 7:00pm ET with URJ Director of Israel Engagement, Reuven Greenvald, will dive into how and why you should bring Israel into your programming. This webinar is suited for both teens and adults.
  • Part III: Tuesday, March 27th at 1:00pm ET with Camp Newman's Director of New Initiatives and Retreats, Loal Isaacs, will share best practices for creatively integrating Jewish texts into youth programming, and connecting teens to one another and to our tradition.
