This Community of Practice, offered jointly by URJ Youth and Hebrew Union College, brings together youth professionals (full time professionals, part time professionals and volunteers) in the first two years of their career to learn with experts in the field, create a peer-to-peer learning group, and explore how to create meaningful and sustainable youth engagement models in their community.
This nine month CoP launches with a retreat at URJ Kutz Camp in Warwick, NY on September 26-28th, 2016, where participants will learn with URJ camp and NFTY professionals, as well as experienced youth leaders from the field, while celebrating Jewish life on the beautiful campus of our URJ Youth leadership camp. Participants will begin to create their vision and outcomes for their youth program, as well as gain basic skills and knowledge to be successful in this work. Following the opening retreat, participants will come together monthly for webinars and video discussions.
Registration is now closed for the 2016-17 cycle of this CoP.
