Resolutions

Polish Jewry

We are appalled at the tragedy now befalling the remnant of Polish Jewry. This fragment of a once great community now finds itself the victim of an organized, government-initiated and sponsored anti-Semitic campaign thinly veiled as opposition to "international Zionism". Experience teaches us that this is a distinction without a difference.

We urge all in our movement to join with others in the Jewish and general community to request our own government to lodge its strongest objections to the Polish government's anti-Semitic policies. We urge all men of good will to raise their voices in public outcry against this monstrous insult, not only to the present Polish Jewish community, but also to the memory of six million, many of whom were Jews and most of who died in death camps on Polish soil.
