Gentlemen: The undersigned, to whom was referred the communication of Dr. Cornelia Kahn, Chairman of the Jewish Women's Council Committee on the purity of the press, respectfully recommends the adoption of the following:
Resolved, That the Executive Board of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations is in hearty sympathy with the efforts of above named Committee, to secure to our families and the people of the whole country the incalculable benefits of a pure, wholesome Press, especially part of it, which enters almost every home in the land, and wishes it Godspeed in its noble, unselfish endeavors in that direction.
