Whereas there have been grassroot requests from members and groups of members of various Reform congregations for an opportunity to participate as Reform Jews as part of the voting constituency of the World Zionist Organization under the aegis of the UAHC and/or otherwise more fully implement their commitment to Israel,

Now, therefore, be it resolved that:

1. The Executive Committee looks with favor upon the idea of providing a structure under the aegis of the UAHC whereby Reform Jews who are so minded may achieve this purpose; and
2. The Chairman of the Board shall appoint a committee to study and recommend to the Board at its June l977 meeting the means by which this purpose may be implemented; and
3. The report of this committee shall be circulated to the Board at least fifteen days prior to the June meeting.
