Executive Vice President

Jen Algire (she/her) serves as Executive Vice President of the Union for Reform Judaism, where she helps advance the organization’s strategic vision to strengthen and grow the Reform Movement across North America. A seasoned executive with a track record of driving transformational change, Jen brings deep expertise in organizational leadership, collaboration, and community-building—emphasizing the power of love as a public good and its essential connection to effective policy-making and vibrant community life.

Prior to joining the URJ, Jen was President and CEO of the Greater Clark Foundation, where she led efforts to elevate civic engagement as a cornerstone of community well-being. She also served as Chief of Staff at Premier Inc., a national healthcare alliance, where she played a key role in strategic growth and innovation.  

Jen serves as Vice-Chair of the board for Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement (PACE), a philanthropic laboratory for funders seeking to maximize their impact on democracy and civic life in America.  

Jen is an active member of the Jewish community, currently serving as Treasurer and finance chair of Ohavay Zion Synagogue in Lexington, Kentucky. She is a past recipient of the Jewish Federations of North America Young Leadership Award and has held leadership roles in several Jewish communal organizations.
