Join us for Nosh, Pray March: The Reform Movement Gathers for Women's Rights

January 8, 2017Shira Zemel

The Women’s March on Washington is happening in Washington, D.C., and cities across the country on Saturday, January 21, 2017. The staff of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism is excited to welcome and support members of our Reform Movement who will be participating in Washington for the day's events.

We will begin at 8:30am for a Shabbat experience led by D.C.-area clergy. Then, from 9:30am – 3:45pm, the RAC is hosting a hospitality space for you and your fellow marchers to return to for refreshments, restrooms, and a place to congregate and reflect with other social justice leaders from across North America. Both events will be held at the Hyatt Regency, downtown near the March location.

Attendance is free, but please register so we have an accurate sense of the headcount.

The Reform Movement is sponsoring Nosh, Pray, March to support the many members of our congregations who will be in D.C. for the Women’s March. Our program reflects our commitment to women’s rights and social justice, and is not an endorsement of all the views and voices that will be present at the March.

Find more information at rac.org/womensmarch. If you have any questions or if you are planning to bring a large group to this event, please email Shira Zemel.
