The Tent

Learn about the URJ's communication and collaboration platform, where thousands of leaders throughout the Reform Movement meet and share ideas.

“Looking up, Abraham saw  three  men standing near him. As soon as he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to greet them and, bowing to the group, he said “My lords, if it  please you, do not go past your servant.” Genesis 18:2-3

The Tent is a collaborative workspace for Reform Jewish lay and professional congregational leaders, as well as other Reform Movement leaders.

In The Tent, congregational leaders can:

  • Connect with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ)- access content curated by the URJ and connect with leaders of the Reform Movement.
  • Network with lay and professional leaders in congregations throughout North America- share information, frustrations and concerns.
  • Collaborate with their own congregational leadership- create a private space in The Tent for the exclusive use of the congregational leadership team. This private Tent space promotes collaboration, provides transparency and can help leadership team become more productive and effective.
