Vice President, Business Strategy & Management

Seth Cohen serves as the Vice President, Business Strategy & Management for the Union for Reform Judaism since 2019. In this role Seth works closely with the finance and operations teams, as well as program and lay leaders, to bring to life the important work of the URJ. Seth joined the URJ in 2014 as the Director of Strategy, Finance and Operations for the URJ camping system. 

Prior to joining the URJ, Seth served as the Deputy Executive Director at Common Cents, Penny Harvest, directing the operations and implementation of a national program dedicated to inspiring one million young people annually – many from underserved communities - to be change-makers through youth-led philanthropy and service. Seth has also served as a leader at the Foundation for Jewish Camp, scaling the One Happy Camper program into a highly regarded program now known for inspiring local Jewish communities to support the field of overnight Jewish camp, while also incentivizing tens of thousands of young people to try Jewish camp for the first time. 

Seth has worked and/or been a participant at BBYO, Camp Ramah and Young Judaea.
