Rachel Hall (she/her) serves as a program manager for the Union for Reform Judaism’s Audacious Hospitality team. She is an openly queer Jewish woman from a working-class background who believes our early experiences with race, economic class, gender, ability, and access to power and privilege shape us individually as well as how we relate and access various communities. Rachel has more than 15 years of nonprofit experience related to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion.
After several synagogue shootings, American Jews are grappling with the need to keep our communities safe and to remain open and welcoming to seekers of all backgrounds.
The URJ is excited to announce the 2019-2020 JewV’Nation Fellowship: The DEI Leadership Cohort, dedicated to promoting and incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion in our Reform Jewish spaces.
