Cathy M. Rolland, RJE (she/her) is the URJ's Vice President of North American Congregational Services and Community Vibrancy, leading a team that provides value-added offerings and experiences for URJ-affiliated congregations and communities. Cathy and her team are committed to making it easier for congregations to operate, engage individuals, build pipelines, and govern. Cathy is the inaugural president of the Early Childhood Educators of Reform Judaism (ECE-RJ), an affiliate of the URJ. She earned a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion. She also has a certification in Jewish Early Childhood Leadership from Gratz College. Cathy and her husband reside in Denver, CO, where she is grateful for the opportunity to serve as the chair of the Efshar Project, formerly known as the Colorado Jewish ECE Initiative, which focuses on building Jewish identity through increasing access to 15 Jewish Early Childhood Education Centers in the Denver/Boulder community.
